Drumline Takes 2nd Place at Riverside King HS!

Congratulations to the Drumline!  After another great show, they are in second place by only 5 hundredths of a point!

Jurupa was also chosen as a Fan Favorite, winning a number of great products from Innovative Percussion.

Championships are in two weeks, April 26th, at Long Beach City College.  Great job, guys!

Incoming 7th Grade Parent Night



Hey Future Panthers!
We're having our Incoming 7th Grade Parent Night on Thursday, April 10th starting at 6:00pm. We will show off our JMS Choir, Band, AVID, Honors, ASB, and Video Production Programs.   It's going to be great!

Drumline wins 1st Place!

Congratulations, Drumline!  They competed at Norte Vista High School on Saturday, April 5, and won 1st place with their best show of the season.  Jurupa is now ranked as the number two middle school drumline.

Next Saturday, they will compete at Riverside King High School at the American Drum Line Semi-Finals event.  Good luck, guys!

By the way, our friends at Patriot HS and Riverside King HS also won their divisions last Saturday!

Concert Band earns Superior Rating at Music Festival!

Congratulations to our Concert Band! On Thursday, March 13, 2014, they played at the Ramona High School Music Festival and earned a Superior Rating. This is the highest rating any band can earn and one of only a handful given out at the festival. Enjoy the video of their performance below!

This division represents the finest conceivable performance for the event and the class of participants being judged; worthy of the distinction of being recognized as among the very best. This rating should be reserved for the truly outstanding performances and might be compared to a percentage grade of 90-100.

Congratulations to our Drumline!  They competed for the first time this season on Saturday, February 8, at Norco High School.  They kids put on a great show and won first place!  Great job, everyone!

 
Our next competition is Saturday, March 15, at Marina High School in Huntington Beach.  Everyone is welcome to attend!
